How To Find Your True Reality.

We can create own own reality. Anything we like. We can use our minds to make our dreams come true. What we think is what we get.

The trouble is that we get side tracked into inadvertently and unknowingly creating the very reality we don’t want.

We can be critical of many aspects of our life. And of others.

Those negative thoughts alone can be working against us to create the very reality we don’t want.

“With our thoughts we make the world,” the Buddha is reported to have said.

Our preconceived ideas and our prejudices get in the way of allowing our true untarnished reality from coming through.

We make judgements.

We have opinions.

We think we know what we want.

What if we just got out of our own way, what if we stopped thinking about what we wanted, and stood back a bit?

This is what I mean by ‘serendipity’.

Allowing the unexpected and the unplanned to step up and show us what is real.

Not forcing our own reality on our lives when, if only we would stop forcing things, the very reality we are seeking is standing in the wings waiting for us to get out of our own way.

It takes a lot of trust to step aside from our control over our lives.

We believe we are the captain of our ship, the master of our soul.

We believe we have the free will to make our own choices.

All of that.

But that doesn’t mean we have to throw away the navigation chart.

Because in our everyday created reality, with all the dramas, the bad news, the opinions, the beliefs, the hatred, the anger, the prejudice, the need to survive, have we overlooked what is real.

What if it’s waiting for us to stand aside, to get out of our own way and let it through.

I believe that’s serendipity’.

Best wishes,
