The Time I Threw All Caution To The Wind.

I was living alone in an old caravan parked by the roadside in the Australian bush.

I’d lost everything.

I was bankrupt.

Then something amazing happened.

I decided to write to new pen friends.

This was in the days before the Internet.

I had nothing to lose.

I wrote to Concerned Singles in Canada.

Free to enter.

I could afford that.

Who wats to know an untypical Aussie, I wrote.

I could manage the cost of a stamp to Canada.

Who would have believed it.

I was swamped by concerned singles from around the world.

“Me, me, me,” they wrote.

Wow.

So began one of the great adventures of my life.

At the same time another great adventure began.

A true mystery fell into my lap.

I was drawn to begin to solve it.

About paranormal evidence to reveal a cover-up in England.

So out of my humble caravan grew amazing new adventures.

Side by side.

You can read my incredible story – of two great adventures – which changed my life.

In my book I reveal all.

Every detail.

Every emotion.

Every romantic episode.

It’s a fun and entertaining read, says one reviewer.

They say you won’t put it down.

What They Didn’t Tell Us About Life.

It’s how I came to search for ethical Truth and look what I found.

It’s in my new 104 page book.

In what seems a lifetime ago a chance meeting with a Librarian who became a close friend opened a door that I found I couldn’t resist.

Was there more to life than meets the eye?

So began my own lifelong search I tell the story of my meeting with the Librarian in the first chapter of this book.

The following 17 chapters tell of unusual personal experiences that followed that reveal my quest to find it.

As if I had opened the door to the answers I was seeking.

Although I didn’t know it.

A second evolution.

Parallel lives.

The secret of Destiny.

What our soul can tell us.

The unknown cause of climate change.

The ethical nature-affirming culture that’s already changing the planet for good.

How we can change the world ourselves.

All in easy-to-read bite-size chapters you can digest quickly.

Refuse To Get Old.

Why do we all hang on to the word ‘retirement’?

Like it’s a place we all go when we reach a certain age.

It’s how we all end up, at a fixed age, perceiving our world, seems to me.

Once we’ve retired that’s it.

We enter another world

A world where life is completely different.

Where we have permission to sit back and take it easy.

We quit work and enter a world where all our dreams come true.

Except that it’s the time we start to get old.

Doing nothing can mean letting our mind deteriorate through lack of exercise.

I’m talking about the mind.

What a waste.

There’s a book ‘Ageless Body, Timeless Mind’ by Deepak Chopra.

Everyone should read it.

It’s how we can stay younger healthier longer.

At least we should do something about keeping our minds and bodies going long after the ‘retirement’ word takes hold.

It’s certainly not in my vocabulary.

I wish you long life and a happy one.

Neil.

PS. Get my new bookHERE’.

I’ve written a knockout book to expose a cover-up.

What was the secret of the ‘Mary Ann’ all-female convict ship in the Third Fleet to Australia?

Only a ghost could have known about it.

Because the truth was covered up and the evidence destroyed.

Then 200 years later a paranormal experience, quite a few in fact, fell into my lap and off I went on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Across 5 countries.

I was in Australia and the cover-up occurred in England.

Involving the Prince of Wales.

And his mistress.

They were married in a secret ceremony.

Officially it never happened.

I’m not so sure.

Back then a liaison between a Protestant and a Catholic was dynamite.

At the time the anti-Catholic Gordon Riots were causing fear amongst the population of London.

This happened in London.

I was in Australia.

The Prince of Wales and a Catholic widow.

That would have been dynamite too.

Officially it never happened.

My paranormal clues said otherwise.

And so, sensing an amazing story, I went for it.

I responded to the clues.

Which led me to Regency England, New Zealand and, yes, right back home to Australia.

I uncovered an amazing story

The writer’s magazine Writer’s Digest called it a “blockbuster”.

And more.

You can read the awesome reviews HERE.

Or buy my blockbuster 230 page book HERE.

It’s a “fun and entertaining” book says another reviewer..

See for yourself.

Love and Peace.

How To Romance Your Life

What do I mean ‘romance your life? Is it an idea we were born with, that our lives were meant to be different to what we’ve been told?
How are we to make that shift from what we’ve been told to a different reality, one that was how we were meant to live?

Have you ever been in love?

Then you will know the feeling of being in love and how everything takes on a new exhilaration in life, like you’re floating on air.
That’s what I mean about life as it was meant to be lived.
A famous movie star once said she always performed her best work when she was in love.
I think it was Bette Davis.

What does ‘romancing’ mean then?

Why can’t life always be a ‘quality or feeling of mystery, excitement and remoteness from everyday life’ as described by a dictionary definition of ‘romance’?
Does this describe your life right now? Or not?
It’s a mystery, isn’t it?
Because, after all, I’ve got to believe it’s how we were meant to live, don’t you think?
Surely it’s where we are being drawn when we have feelings of inadequacy, failure, depression or midlife crisis.
It’s what’s going on whenever we feel unhappy about our lives. Isn’t it?
What if adjusting to romance is the way to fix it.
“Follow your bliss and doors will open where you never knew they existed” said mythology author Joseph Campbell.
Bliss = Romance.

Want to know more?

I hope the ideas in my new book ‘Romancing Your Life & Changing The World’ (buy your copy above) will bring you a little closer to that idealised state of existence, life as she was meant to be lived, the true romance that is your life.

Love and Peace.
