Only at the Bottom Can You Decide Whether to Live or Die.

What’s the most important word here?

‘Live’ or ‘Die’?

Neither.

The most important word here is ‘Only’,

Only when you have nothing, only then, can you decide.

I’ve been there, after bankruptcy, when I lost everything.

I mean everything.

Only when I had lost everything did I start to do everything differently.

Only when my back was to the wall did I start to think of new possibilities for my life.

I started to pay attention to coincidences.going on around me.

I started to pay more attention to my family.

I began to start living.

I had adventures

With nothing..

I began to start trusting.

Trusting what?

I call it the Universe.

Trusting the Universe.

“You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever.” said Steve Jobs.

“I just trust my beeps,” said a winner of a creative achievement award.

I started trusting the Universe and the files to this book fell into my lap.

For the next 10 years I spent researching and writing it.

You can find your copy of the book here.

Sure I didn’t win the lottery.

But I found so much more.

You’ll find my story in the book.

I want you to read it and see what choosing to live can bring.

Your story will be different.

Choose to live, whatever your circumstances, and start living to trust the Universe.

Or whatever you can trust.

Live the life you were meant to live.

You already know what it is.

Go for it.

And never look back.

Love and Peace.

Survival Outside The Square

Survival from nothing.

I’ve been there and I know how to turn survival on its head.

I did it and I’m still here to tell you how.

In my inspirational book I outline the steps I took outside the nine dots.

Which is not what everyone else will tell you.

Because I’m different.

I didn’t fall for the usual advice based on money.

To me survival isn’t about the money.

I’ve proved it.

For me it’s about our life and how we were meant to live it.

It’s about our destiny, about letting go, about being open to the new which may be waiting for us the wings.

My book starts off with bankruptcy.

And my life was all uphill from there.

Like I said, it’s not about the money.

It’s about my life.

It’s about everybody’s life.

Ultimately, it’s about finding happiness and fulfilment.

It’s about being there for your family when they need you.

And it’s about having fun while you still can.

Ask yourself, is this the sea change I’ve been dreaming about?

So here’s the shocking truth about my need to survive after my life and career in advertising crashed and burned.

This is when my real life began.

Isn’t that all about our perspective?

Whether your life or career is in trouble, or has already crash landed, think outside the nine dots and think about starting the life you were meant to live.

I did.

Best wishes.

Is Life A Quest To Find Peace Amongst The Noise?

At the age of 11 I started high school which was located on a noisy main road with clattering trams passing every few minutes ding, ding, dinging their bells. In those first few weeks I thought I would go crazy with the traffic noise outside.

After a while I forgot the noise and began to pay attention to my teachers instead of the trams.

Was this a metaphor for life?

All my life I’ve sought the solitude of being alone, searching for peace, whether among Nature or in the midst of family, work or just life.

I’ve owned a country cottage where I would find my peace and worked in offices in the heart of the big city of Melbourne.

In the end, finally, I can say I can find peace wherever I happen to be.

So I’m wondering if this is the point of being alive on this planet, the purpose of life if you like.

To find our peace among the clatter, the ding, ding, dinging going on outside our head.

I’m wondering if we need to be more tolerant of the noise around us instead of reacting to it, as I have done for most of my life.

Could this be the secret of overcoming stress and anxiety which have become so prevalent in our society today.

Deal with it, yes, but reacting to it, I’m not so sure.

I can say this because I am the greatest offender in overreacting to the noise and disharmony around me.

So I can speak from experience.

Didn’t the Buddha talk about first learning to “chop wood, cart water”?

Is this what he meant?

I’m working on it.

I hope that my experience can benefit you too.

Best wishes,

Neil
